Spring Jamboree is BACK!
In case you haven't heard, we were given the FINAL approval we needed earlier this week for Spring Jamboree 2021! We are so excited, but BUSY and need volunteers for JUST about everything.
Because of the size of the event, we are required to have COVID Awareness Monitors which increases our need for volunteers. If you are looking to help us out AND promote your business (we give businesses shoutouts!) then we've got a job for you! Here is a link to the Sign Up! We also are doing something new this year for our emcees. Do you know a local celebrity that would be a great emcee? We have four slots that we would love to have filled by local folks! Reply back to this email and let us know if YOU or someone you know would love to do this.
Employee Retention Tax Credit Webinar
The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021, which became law on Dec. 27, 2020, made significant changes to the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC). The changes essentially are designed to increase the availability, scope and amount of the credits.
With these new Tax Credits you can earn up to $7,000 per employee, per quarter for both quarter 1 and quarter 2 of 2021. City of Boulder City CARES Act Funds Available to Local Businesses
From the City of Boulder City:
The City Council of Boulder City set aside another round of federal funds from the COVID-19 Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act Relief Funds for local businesses.
Starting on May 4th, Boulder City businesses that were impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic may apply online.
The program will be administered through the National Development Council (NDC) through the ZoomGrants portal.
• Grant applications will be accepted online from May 4 until May 31, 2021 (midnight)
• The attached Reference Sheet highlights the details and specifics of the program (Grant use, eligibility requirements, etc.)
• Grant award: $5,000 (total of 10 grants will be awarded, as City Council approved $50,000)
• Businesses that have not received any financial assistance will be prioritized
