Psst...Trunk or Treat is BACK!

We are excited to announce that our annual Halloween event is BACK in it's original pre-COVID form! October 22, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

We have added more bounce houses, a NEW haunted tractor/hay ride, food trucks, and MORE! If you our your business would like to decorate a trunk and pass out candy, arrive at 3:30 p.m. to Veteran's Park on Commons Drive. $10 gets you in the gates and a parking spot to decorate your trunk and hand out candy. It also gets you all of the additional activities for free, excluding food and drinks. Your trunk will automatically be entered into the Trunk Decorating Contest with cash awards!

If you would like to only attend without decorating a trunk and passing out candy, the cost is only $20 per vehicle. That covers everyone in the vehicle and entitles them to all of the activities, excluding food and drink. We will have a costume contest that everyone can participate in! Cash awards will be given!

Admission cost goes to cover the costs of producing this and other events in Boulder City, sponsored by the Boulder City Chamber of Commerce.

Lieutenant Governor Lisa Cano Burkhead Introduces Legislation to Ease Licensing Burdens on Nevada's Small Businesses

Lieutenant Governor Lisa Cano Burkhead announced today, Oct. 13, that she has filed a bill draft request to improve the general licensing processes for Nevada businesses, and empower the Secretary of State’s Office to serve as “one-stop-shop" for business owners.

Under the bill, which will be considered by the 82nd Nevada Legislature in 2023, the Secretary of State’s office would serve as a clearing house for general business license applications and renewals. Regulatory authority and licensing revenue streams would remain untouched, and under the purview of counties and municipalities.
