The Clock is ticking! Filed an erroneous employee retention credit? Join to learn about the IRS Voluntary Disclosure Program Webinar
Employee Retention Credit - IRS Voluntary Disclosure Program
Presented by Stacha M. Duffy, IRS Stakeholder Liaison
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has announced a limited time reopening of its Voluntary Disclosure Program (VDP). Aggressive marketing tactics lured unsuspecting businesses into claiming the complex credit. The IRS voluntary disclosure program provides a final window of opportunity for those misled businesses to adjust and avoid future compliance action by the IRS. In this webinar learn how the IRS voluntary pay back program is allowing businesses to retain 15% and avoid penalties. This program offers a valuable opportunity for businesses to correct inaccurate ERC claims and ensure compliance with tax regulations. The voluntary disclosure window closes November 22, 2024.
If your business claimed the Employee Retention Credit (ERC) in error, now is the time to act! This program is only available through November 22.
Eligibility Criteria: Understand whether your business qualifies for the second round of the ERC Voluntary Disclosure Program.
Application Process: Learn the steps to apply for the program and what documentation you’ll need.
ERC Claim Withdrawal Process: If your ERC claim has not been paid by the IRS, or if you’ve received a refund check but have not cashed or deposited it. Discover how you can withdraw your claim.
Take advantage of this chance to address any discrepancies and secure your business’s compliance before the deadline.
SBA will make a short presentation on how SBA programs and services assist small businesses.
