The new Administration and 117th Congress now have a chance to lead the rest of the world again in the transportation electrification sector. As the voice of the electric vehicle (EV) consumer, Plug In America, urges the Biden Administration to adopt the following bold policies
Make Your Chamber Investment Dues More Affordable
We know budgets are tight, especially since COVID. The last thing we want you to do is drop your Chamber membership during a time where your business may really need the extra advertising and word of mouth.
Did you know you can spread out your Chamber investment over the year? This helps you control expenses by budgeting your entire year payment into quarterly payments, making it more affordable. Here's an example:
A Silver level investment is $1,000 a year. If you spread that over 4 quarterly payments at $250 each, your investment is a bit easier to budget for. For a Bronze investment tier, it's $125 a quarter for a total of $500. Boulder City Chamber is one of the most affordable Chambers to join, especially here in Southern Nevada.
We also can accept automatic payments through a checking account or a credit card, making your dues payments simple and stress-free. Contact Kassie at the office 702-293-2034 to get signed up!
New Chamber Location Brings More Visitors
The Chamber has installed a traffic counter at the entrance to our new location at 100 Nevada Way. It was installed and turned on January 15. On February 1, a count was taken and we had 759 cars pass INTO our location! Since the new location includes public restrooms and some great views of Lake Mead AND a newly discovered herd of Big Horn Sheep, we are seeing a TON of traffic and visitors to our office.
If you haven't checked out the new location, we encourage you to stop by. Our volunteers are back to work and referring people like crazy to our local businesses. The Chamber staff is monitoring counts so keep an eye out here every month for our previous months number.

What Questions Should Businesses Be Asking Themselves in 2021?
With so much uncertainty, sometimes it’s worth going back to basics.
Below are 5 smart questions our analysts came up with to help guide you and your business this year.
What are 3-5 values driving your company?
At The Hustle, we try to embody our values in our work. Three of our core values are:
o Default to optimism
o Foster a growth mindset
o Disregard ego
List your values, then ask yourself: Can you match a milestone you want to reach in 2021 to each of them?
What is one subconscious assumption you’ve made about the new year? What’s your backup plan if it’s wrong?
Examples: “Things will go back to ‘normal’ in 6 months” or “the shift toward [ecommerce, remote work, telemedicine, etc.] will be permanent.”
What will you deprioritize this year to make room for what matters?
As you add or change priorities for your business, what are you saying no to?
Why do people love your product or service? What holds them back from loving it?
How would your customers feel if they could no longer use your product?
What’s the one thing you do better than anyone?
Costco does cost tangibly better. Apple does quality tangibly better. Amazon does speed tangibly better.
What’s your secret sauce? And how can you lean into that more this year?
